Questions? We’re Here to Help.

Find answers about The Village Living, our housing program, eligibility, the application process, program expectations, and what to expect during your stay.

The Village Living is a structured transitional housing and support program designed to help people move toward greater stability and independence. Members receive a safe, furnished living environment while working toward personal, employment, financial, educational, and housing goals. Our first home in Clarksville, Tennessee currently serves women, including mothers with children.

The Village Living is designed to support individuals and families working toward stability and independence. Our current Clarksville home is specifically designated for women, including mothers with up to two children. Future Village Living homes may serve additional populations as our program expands.

Members may participate in the program for up to 6 or 12 months, depending on their individual program plan, progress, and continued eligibility. Continued participation requires members to actively work toward their established goals and follow program and house expectations.

You do not have to be employed, but you must have a verifiable source of income to participate in The Village Living. Members are responsible for their program housing payment and are also required to save money while participating in the program. Employment may be one source of income, but other verifiable income sources may also be considered.

Yes. Our current home has designated space for mothers with children. Placement depends on household size, available space, and program eligibility. Our current accommodations can support mothers with up to two children.

Members are expected to actively work toward greater stability and independence. This includes making required housing payments, maintaining savings, working toward personal and financial goals, participating in required program activities, maintaining the home, communicating with program staff, and following all program and community living expectations.

No. The Village Living is a structured transitional housing program, not an emergency shelter. Members must complete our application and intake process, meet program requirements, have a verifiable source of income, and be ready to actively work toward greater stability and independence.

Start by completing The Village Living intake application. Our team will review your information to determine whether the program may be a good fit. Qualified applicants will be contacted regarding the next steps, which may include an interview, document verification, program orientation, and confirmation of space availability.

Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Applications are reviewed based on program eligibility, household needs, available space, and overall program fit. If you meet the initial requirements, our team will contact you about the next step in the intake process.

Yes. We welcome referrals from agencies, case managers, community organizations, churches, and other service providers. Referred individuals must still complete The Village Living intake process and meet program requirements before placement can be approved.
